#1. What is the Halfway to Black Friday Pre-Order?
The Halfway to Black Friday Pre-Order is a chance for customers to order our Halfway to Black Friday releases ahead of the sale, securing exclusive discounts on these titles as well as earlier shipping following the sale.
#2. When does it start?
The Halfway to Black Friday Pre-Order Weekend will start Friday, May 1st at 12:01 PM EDT and run through Monday, May 4th at 11:59 PM EDT. Most pre-order options will remain available to order until the site shuts down ahead of the sale, but at their full prices.
#3. What will be available?
We will have these pre-order options available:
- MACABRE
- Newly announced VS
- Newly announced VSU
- Newly announced Cinématographe
- Newly announced VSP
- Newly announced Distribpix
- Secret Releases (2 secret VS titles)
And that is hardly half of the titles coming your way for Halfway to Black Friday! The rest will be revealed once the sale goes live on May 22nd.
Important update: The usual EVERYTHING packages are not widely available this year and can only be purchased if you already pre-ordered MACABRE. Please see additional information below.
#4. What is the benefit of pre-ordering these titles?
All pre-order options will be discounted during the pre-order weekend, and will return to their full prices on May 5th. Ordering ahead of time secures these discounted prices, as well as a guaranteed copy of some of the more popular titles!
Having an active pre-order also enables order stacking immediately when the sale begins. As long as you have a Black Friday pre-order, you will automatically see your ‘Add to my existing order’ shipping option at checkout.
Additionally, Pre-Order packages will be the first to ship after the sale, following our Subscriber packages.
#5. I’m a Subscriber, what do I need to know?
As a VS subscriber, you will automatically receive MACABRE, the secret releases and the to-be revealed VS release. The VSU, Cinématographe, VSP, and Distribpix titles can be purchased with your 50% off SRP subscriber discount. Everything will be shipped out after the sale with your May package!
Please note: You are already receiving MACABRE, the SECRET RELEASES and the to-be announced VS titles. Subscriber orders for these releases will be cancelled prior to shipping due to our (1) per customer limit.
#5. I pre-ordered MACABRE, what do I need to know?
Due to your wise decision to pre-order MACABRE, you will have exclusive access to the discounted ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING and ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, AND THEN SOME packages during the pre-order weekend. These packages will be taken off the site Monday 5/4 at 11:59 PM, so order them while you can! Please be sure to check the site when the pre-order goes live for the details of each package.
Important note #1: Since you are already receiving MACABRE, the MSRP of these packages will be reduced by $64.98.
Important note #2: Both EVERYTHING packages will only be available on www.vinegarsyndrome.com. They will not be available for purchase on the mobile app.
Subscribers: Since you are already receiving MACABRE and other titles included in these packages, you will not able to order them. You can order the applicable titles separately using your 50% off SRP Subscriber discount and the remaining titles will be available for individual purchase when the sale goes live on May 22nd.
#6. Will there be any other new releases on May 1st?
Yes! Our May Partner Label line-up will also be dropped on May 1st, at 12:01 PM EDT. These releases will be available to ship before the Halfway to Black Friday sale, so be sure to place a separate order for them if you’d like them to ship earlier. Stacking them with Halfway to Black Friday Pre-orders means they will ship out after the sale.
#7. When will everything ship?
Halfway to Black Friday pre-order items will ship out following our Halfway to Black Friday sale. The sale takes place May 22nd-25th, so we expect to have your item(s) shipped out by the end of June. This includes all pre-order or regular sale items.
May Partner Label pre-orders ordered separately will ship out in early-mid May, before the Halfway to Black Friday sale.
