#1. What is the Even More Rad! Labor Day Sale?
Labor Day has become a major holiday here at Vinegar Syndrome, marking the annual unveiling of some of our most exciting summer releases, plus fresh batches of OOP releases getting added each day for the 7-day event!
Just like past Labor Day sales, we will also be bringing you major discounts, a VSMC promotion, new merch and more!
Our sister site, Mélusine, will have its own OOP section in tandem with Vinegar Syndrome, so be sure to check out what is happening over there!
#2. When does it start?
The sale begins at 12:01 PM ET on Tuesday, September 1st and runs through 11:59 PM ET on Monday, September 7th.
Both Vinegar Syndrome and Mélusine will be shutting down around 12:00 AM ET on Sunday, August 30th in preparation for the sale.
#3. Will there be new products for this event?
Yes! Our normal September 1st lineup of 8 new VS + VS Sub-Label releases and 29 Partner Labels releases will be available at the start of the event. Plus, we will have a handful of new products being made available exclusively for the event!
#4. What is going to be on sale?
A variety of products released prior to November 2025 will be discounted during this event, including releases and merchandise ranging from 10%-70% off SRP! There will be special discounted sections of the site to browse, including Daily Deals and the Merch Wipeout collection.
#5. What are the Daily Deals?
For each day of the event we will be swapping in a fresh batch discounted VS + Partner Label releases at 12:01 PM ET. Discounts will range from 60-70% off SRP.
#6. What is the Merch Wipeout collection?
This Labor Day we are offering customers the chance to stock up on some heavily discounted merch and clothing items, and to take part in a promotion for even more savings! All merchandise released prior to December 2025 will be available for purchase in this section. Most will be discounted from 10-70% off, but some prices will be normal.
All products in this collection qualify for an additional Buy X, Get Y promotion. More information on this to come!
NOTE: Some merch items will NOT be returning to the website after the sale is over. These items will be clearly marked on the site/app.
#7. What is the VSMC Promotion?
We will be bringing back another VSMC punch card campaign! Make a purchase of $50 or more each day of the event, and earn a bonus 2,000 points on your loyalty account. Keep track of your progress through the Rewards History section on your account page.
Remember: All exclusive VSMC slipcovers will be available for redemption until September 7th @ 11:59pm ET, so now is your chance to snag a slipcover you may have missed out on!
NOTE #1: Each purchase must be $50 before tax and shipping, and after any discounts applied. This must be a single purchase each day, combined purchases do not count. Please check your punch card progress after each purchase to see if your purchase qualifies.
NOTE #2: If you request cancellation of any items that counted towards your punch card, your punch card progress will be set back with the refund, no matter your current progress.
NOTE #3: One punch card completion per customer.
#8. What are the 'Out of Print' products that were mentioned?
The 'Out of Print' (or OOP) titles getting added during the sale are products that have sold out in the past that we have unearthed in our warehouse. This is due to a variety of reasons; from locating a forgotten box in back stock to going through returns and/or damages that have been processed by our warehouse crew.
Remember, the OOP section will have products ranging in stock levels, and will be extremely limited. The entire collection will have a strict 1 unit per customer policy in place. Any orders that exceed this limit will have the extra items refunded prior to shipping.
Some OOP products may come with slightly dinged corners, imperfect edges, small scuff marks, etc. from years of warehousing and storage. Due to the expected imperfections and limited nature of these products, we will not be honoring any replacement requests for damages.
And remember, adding an item to your cart does not reserve you a copy, your copy is only secured once paid for. If an item sells out before you are able to check out, it means all copies have been sold and we will not be able to amend your order to include it.
NOTE: All OOP sales are final during this event. We will NOT be accepting refunds or cancellations for any OOP products.
#9. Is there anything to know about the OOP section?
Yes! The OOP collection will have a new batch of products added it it each day! We will be keeping up anything that is still available throughout the week.
Please note: Listed OOP items that still have an in-stock standard edition will be removed from the OOP section once the limited edition version sells out. This is to ensure that in-stock standard editions are not confused as out of print product.
#10. Will I be able to add to an existing order during this period?
Yes! As always, order stacking will be available during the sale. If you have an unfulfilled order that you paid shipping on, you will automatically have the free 'Add to my existing order' shipping option enabled. You can also use the free "Add to my existing Vinegar Syndrome order" shipping option on Mélusine to stack orders cross-site.
NOTE: Customers must be logged in to view this shipping option. Subscribers will have the same shipping option available to them.
#11. Anything going on at the Mélusine website?
Yes, Mélusine will have it's own, limited, OOP section that will be available to browse for the entirety of the sale.
Mélusine will have new Distribpix and VCX releases available on September 1st at 12:01 PM ET.
#12. Will free shipping thresholds still be enabled during the sale?
No. Free shipping thresholds are disabled during our larger sales & events, including this one.
#13. When will everything ship?
We will begin shipping in-stock orders immediately following the sale. Subscriber orders will begin shipping around September 14th, with all remaining orders sent out by the end of the month.
NOTE: Brand new Pre-orders will be available during the sale. If you are adding to an existing order that contains a Pre-order item, the merged orders will not ship out until later in (mid) September. If you wish for your Even More Rad! items to ship out before then, place those orders separately and be sure to pay for shipping.
