Event Related FAQ
#1. What is Subscriber Week?
The first seven days of the new year are a celebration of all things Vinegar Syndrome! During this 7-day period, our 2026 Yearly Subscription will be available to purchase, plus we'll have new disc + merch releases, a selection of heavily discounted Daily Deals, new VSMC loyalty products, a punch card campaign to earn extra VSMC points, and a chance to win a free 2026 Subscription!
#2. When does it start?
The festivities will kick off at 12:01 PM ET on Thursday, January 1st and run through Wednesday, January 7th at 11:59 PM ET. The new releases and daily deals will be added to the site at 12:01 PM ET each day of the sale.
Please note: The website + app will be going into maintenance mode on December 29th at 10 AM ET, so we can prepare for the start of Subscriber Week 2026.
#3. What are the daily drops and deals?
This year's Subscriber Week will bring you 3 new VS titles, 1 VSU, 1 VSL, 2 exciting new releases from Cinématographe, 2 releases from our new line Iconoscope, 1 new Pink Line release and 25 new Partner Label releases!
On top of the new releases, we're also offering a selection of heavily discounted titles each day. Everything from VS limited editions, 4K UHDs, box sets, Partner Labels and more! Discounts will range up to 70% off SRP, including some titles from 2025, and to celebrate our 13th anniversary select titles will be discounted at $13.13, so be sure to check the Daily Deals section each day at 12:01 PM ET to see what's new! Plus, as an added bonus we will be offering 5x VSMC points on all Daily Deal purchases!
Important Note: The '3 Regular VS' titles are included in the 2026 Subscription. Everything else (excluding the Daily Deals) will be available at a discounted rate of 50% off SRP for 2026 Subscribers.

#4. What is the Subscription Sweepstakes?
During this sale, we will be giving away ONE free subscription to a lucky winner, sweepstakes style! To enter, all you have to do is visit the Sweepstakes page (coming soon) and redeem your Vinegar Syndrome Media Club points for an entry. 1 entry = 300 points and more entries = higher chance of winning! You can enter as many times as you'd like through the course of Subscriber Week, and we'll pick the lucky winner at the end of the week.
Note: If you already plan on purchasing the 2026 Subscription, you can still enter to win! If you are the chosen winner, we will refund your subscription purchase in full, and activate your free subscription.
#5. What is the punch card campaign?
Throughout the 7 days of Subscriber Week, we will be offering our loyalty customers a chance to earn even more VSMC points upon completion of our punch card campaign. Spending $30+ each day of the event, will earn you a bonus of 1,000 VSMC points! Keep track of your progress through the Rewards History section on your account page.
Please Note: Each purchase must be $30 before tax and shipping, and after any discounts applied. Please check your punch card progress after each purchase to see if your purchase qualifies.
#6. Will order stacking be available?
Yes! As always, as long as you have an unfulfilled Subscriber Week order on the site, you can add to it for free up until it ships out. Just use the handy "Add to my existing order" shipping option at checkout. All Subscriber Week orders will be combined and sent out together later in the month.
#7. When will everything ship?
We will begin shipping orders placed during this period around January 12th, with 2026 Subscriber packages being shipped first. We will work on shipping out orders through the end of January, so please allow a couple of weeks to get your order shipped out.
#8. This is all great, but my Black Friday and/or Partners Only order still hasn't shipped yet.
All Black Friday and/or Partners Only orders will be shipped out before Subscriber Week begins.
Subscription Related FAQ
#1. What is a Subscription?
Being a Subscriber is hands down the best way to experience all things Vinegar Syndrome and the benefits are absolutely massive. As a Subscriber, you will receive every VS branded release in 2026, with each release being 50% off SRP in the purchase price of the Subscription. This includes limited edition packaging, box sets, secret or mystery releases, and more, all automatically sent to your door 10 months out of the year.
On top of that, you will also receive exclusive 50% off SRP discounts on the following releases in 2026:
- VS Sub-Labels: VSA, VSU, VSL, VSP, Cinématographe, Degausser, Iconoscope, Pink Line
- Partner Labels: Each release from our 40 (and growing!) Partner Labels
- Mélusine Website: Mélusine, Quality X, Peekarama, Distribpix, Command Cinema, and more!
Subscribers always have the option to add any additional orders to their package each month for free, with a special Subscriber shipping option. And finally, Subscriber Packages are always the first to ship out for new releases, sales and events.

#2. How much does it cost?
The 2026 Subscription Package will no longer have three different packages for US, Canada and International. Instead the package will have a flat price of $1,095.00. However, shipping rates for the subscription will be applied at checkout, based on customer location.
US - Standard Shipping = FREE
US - Deluxe Shipping = $140
Canada = $140
International = $220
Please Note: The yearly Subscription is non-refundable once Subscriber Week ends.
#3: Is there a limit to how many customers can subscribe?
Yes! This year we are doing things a little differently. To keep our subscription numbers around the sweet spot for operations, we will be capping the number of subscribers to 2,000 customers. 2025 Subscribers will be guaranteed a spot, if looking to renew.
#4. I'm going to sign up. How do I get the discounts?
If you plan on taking the plunge with us in 2026, you should purchase the subscription first, before you make any other purchases. Many of the new releases (on VS and Mélusine) and the new Partner Label titles will be eligible for the Subscriber discount. Purchasing the subscription first ensures you receive the proper discounts + shipping options at check out. All benefits will be automatically applied to your account once you make your purchase.
Important Note #1: At the start of the event there will be lots of activity on the website. This means there is a chance for delays when activating new subscriptions. Please allow a short amount of time to pass if you are not immediately seeing your Subscriber pricing after purchasing a subscription. If you are experiencing any extended issues, please contact us via our Help Center.
Important Note #2: Your Subscriber status may take up to 24 hours to appear on Mélusine. If you plan to place an order over there but do not see the proper discount applied, please wait and try again later.
#5. Do I get anything else as a Subscriber?
Yes! This year 2026 Subscribers will be receiving a premium metal membership card, engraved with their name and a QR code, which can be used at our growing number of retail locations and all VS-attended conventions, screenings & events! More details on when to expect the membership card to come.
#6. I'm a current Subscriber in 2025, what do I need to know?
Big thanks for being with us in 2025! You will be receiving an exclusive $100 renewal coupon later this month, good towards renewing your Subscription in 2026. Otherwise, not much to note! 2026 is shaping up to be even bigger and better than 2025, so we hope to see you back for the year.
Quick reminder that your 2025 Subscription does end on December 29th, when the site shuts down ahead of Subscriber Week. The 2025 Subscriber discounts do not roll over, so if you sign back up for 2026, your Subscriber discounts will refresh and apply only to 2026 releases.
